There is man who is the warrior side of God and there is woman the beauty side of God. Man is made for adventure, but woman doesn't want to be left out. They have different job descriptions. The man’s heart calls him to explore, to build, to conquer. The woman’s heart calls her to create, to inspire, to energize. Man is all nature and all fierce. Woman is all nurture and all passion. When a man and a woman can come together, they can reflect God. They are like the Moon who borrows light.
Man serves fatherhood well when he participates in his children’s lives. Children most often recall what and when their father participated in their lives. Woman serves motherhood well when she pays attention to her children. How often do you see kids and adults say "hi, mom" when the tv camera is pointed in their direction? Man gives. Woman invites. When a father and a mother come together, they can reflect the borrow Light into their children.
Isn't God a pretty cool Creator. I cannot fathom His intelligence ... far exceeds my own. Amazing that in marriage you can find God.
